Green materials form the basis for a sustainable hydrogen economy. The research work pursues the goal of developing "green" materials and technologies for the safe production, storage, transport and use of hydrogen and for the conversion of existing structures to hydrogen applications. The focus is on materials throughout the hydrogen cycle. From production to transport to ultimate use.

Practical and solution-oriented: At RECYCLING-TECHNIK Dortmund you will receive technologies and solutions for the reprocessing and environmentally compatible disposal of waste products.

This workshop is addressed to representatives from recycling companies, distributing companies, refiners and R&D communities.

How can sustainable materials and the development of efficient procedures and recycling processes, the use of critical raw materials be minimised and materials otherwise kept in the cycle for as long as possible? Is it possible to replace existing materials, e.g. in electrolysers, with "greener" materials without loss of performance?

After 5 editions in Erice (Italy), 3 in USA and the stop due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the next ISMES School will take place at the prestigious “Scuola Superiore” of the University of Catania.

f-cell - the annual event for the hydrogen and fuel cell industries provides an extensive overview for relevant international markets and industries as well as technological advancements. The interactive format offers an ideal platform for experts and newcomers alike to connect, discuss and set up sustainable business relationships. f-cell consists of an english speaking conference with interactive plenaries and workshops, and an international trade fair.

Rare Earths are critical materials for vehicle electrification and wind turbines. Electric vehicles will only unleash their full environmental benefit when the electricity mix evolves towards a higher renewables content. For that, wind-power turbines also rely on rare earths’ magnets for highest efficiency and low-maintenance cost.

Following the motto "From Material to Innovation: Digital, Neutral, Vital", the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) organises the conference "MatFo2022" on 14th and 15th November 2022.
