Fraunhofer Research Institution for Materials Recycling and Resource Strategies IWKSDr. Guoxing Chen receives the FCPAE award as one of the “Top 10 Leading Chinese Talents in Science and Technology in Europe”
At the 14th European Forum of the FCPAE (Federation of Chinese Professional Associations in Europe) from 20 to 21 October 2023 in Brussels, Dr Guoxing Chen, scientist at Fraunhofer IWKS, was honoured with the “Top 10 Leading Chinese Talents in Science and Technology in Europe” Award 2023.
The award is presented for the 8th time by the Federation of Chinese Professional Associations in Europe to young Chinese scientists who have excelled in their respective academic disciplines worldwide. The aim is to highlight outstanding achievements and contributions in order to inspire new talent and drive innovation. The selection process for the award includes an intensive competition as well as peer review. With over 200,000 members in Europe, the FCPAE is a respected organization in the global Chinese professional community.
Dr Chen has been working for the Fraunhofer IWKS since 2020 and researches in particular on plasma-based technology for up-recycling wastebis materials.
