Fraunhofer Research Institution for Materials Recycling and Resource Strategies IWKSDr. Andrea Gassmann has been Deputy Director of the Fraunhofer Research Institution for Materials Recycling and Resource Strategies IWKS since July 2020. Dr. Gassmann has many years of experience as a research associate and head of department at Fraunhofer IWKS as well as Technical University of Darmstadt. In the course of her career, she has worked in several departments and since August 2018 she has been responsible for the department Material Flow Management at Fraunhofer IWKS.
Dr. Gassmann studied materials science at the Technical University of Darmstadt and successfully completed her doctorate in 2010.
