Dr. Maximilian Fries

Dr. Maximilian Fries is a highly accomplished professional with a background in material science, holding a Ph.D. earned at TU Darmstadt in 2017. His research focused on magnetic phase transitions and was conducted under the guidance of Professor Oliver Gutfleisch.

In 2018, Dr. Fries co-founded MAGNOTHERM Solutions GmbH and has since served as the Managing Director, demonstrating leadership and entrepreneurial skills. Under his guidance, the company has experienced remarkable growth, expanding its workforce to approximately 40 individuals. Driven by his strategic vision and dedication, MAGNOTHERM achieved a significant milestone in 2023 by introducing its first magnetocaloric product to the market.
