Workshop  /  November 21, 2024, 1 p.m. to 4.15 p.m. (CET)

ABraytCSPfuture Stakeholder Workshop

In the EU-funded project ABraytCSPfuture we want to demonstrate an innovative, carbon-neutral way for implementing into future air-operated concentrated solar power (CSP) plants the more efficient air-Brayton gas turbine power generation cycles on top of the currently employed steam Rankine ones. We aim to significantly increase in parallel the plants storage capability. Both these objectives will be achieved by exploiting reversible reduction/oxidation (redox) reaction schemes of earth-abundant, inexpensive, non-toxic oxides in direct contact with air.

In the workshop we will at first present a synopsis of the work of the project to the interested stakeholders and then will work out an assessment within the broader stakeholders’ community. After the introduction to the main goals and the technology and objectives of the project we will discuss with you aspects relevant to the circular economy and CSP technology in teams. We then want to compile the collected information with your expertise in order to develop a roadmap within the project.
