Waste4Future - Workshop

What does the Zero Pollution Act mean for the plastics industry and how can we jointly take responsibility for a future worth living for people and the environment? During an online event, experts from industry and the Fraunhofer lighthouse project Waste4Future will provide insight into how networked recycling processes and technologies for waste containing plastics can make a valuable contribution to achieving the Zero Pollution Act action plan.

With the Zero Pollution Act, the European Union has adopted an action plan to reduce the amount of pollutants to a level that is tolerable for humans and the environment by 2050. The strategic goals by 2030 focus, among other things, on reducing waste generation overall and minimizing the amount of plastic waste and microplastics entering the oceans and the environment.
