International Manufacturing Technology Show 2018

IMTS 2018 is the 32nd edition of the leading trade show for manufacturing technology in North America. The fair takes place every year in Chicago and attracts buyers and sellers from 117 countries.

More than 10 institutes will present their research work at the joint stand of the Fraunhofer Gesellschaft. Visitors to the Fraunhofer joint stand at IMTS 2018 in Chicago can experience how a lively mix of new technologies in the fields of smart production, additive manufacturing, augmented reality, digital engineering, sensor technology, human-machine interaction and smart materials is changing the future. The Fraunhofer Project Group IWKS presents the flagship project Criticality of Rare Earths, including the most important milestones and two demonstrators. In addition to the exhibition, a large number of specialist lectures and expert discussions with the scientific directors will be offered.
